What are Calcium Salts?

Calcium salts are calcium-based compounds typically formed through the neutralization reaction between an acid and a base, such as calcium chloride. Lime products are commonly used as the source of calcium to produce these salts, and the end products are used worldwide in a range of applications from agriculture and food processing to pharmaceuticals, plastics manufacturing, and more.

Lime Slaking Systems & Upgrades

Over time, equipment at chemical manufacturing facilities may need updated or replaced due to normal wear and tear or for the integration of new technologies. Carmeuse supplies advanced equipment solutions for lime storage, handling, and slaking through Carmeuse Systems.

Our expert engineers can design the right solution to keep your production of calcium salts running smoothly, from new lime handling systems and slakers, to retrofits and upgrades for your existing equipment. For additional information related to our lime handling expertise, visit the website.
