We are thrilled to share the news of our recent recognition – the Health & Safety Award presented by the International Lime Association (ILA) in partnership with VISION ZERO, a groundbreaking initiative by ISSA Mining. This acknowledgment of Carmeuse’s commitment to safety, recognizes our effort to encourage safety behaviors through a series of informative and didactic videos in our operations.
By means of this project, led by Brian Horvath, the Site Operations Manager at Grand River and complemented by a dedicated Safety Team, comprising Jodi Pitchok, Adam King, Donald Lhoest, Brett Russell, Steve Pounds, Scott Kristensen, Adam Woodruff, Tina Elder, and Dan Brewster, Carmeuse demonstrates its will to prioritize safety across all operations.
