Beachville Employees Plus Cookies Equal Plenty of Smiles

On May 5th, volunteering proves to be extra sweet as Beachville employees volunteered their time to help decorate cookies for Tim Horton’s “Smile Cookie Week.” 

The decorating operation having the volunteers ‘smiling’ all day, supported 8 local stores who sold the Smile Cookies to raise funds for donations to United Way Oxford and the Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario. 

As Marnie Lance—Human Resources at Carmeuse explains, “We are happy to support this initiative every year by purchasing cookies for the employees at the plant, but is was an honor to be able to contribute through volunteering as well!”
