The Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Virginia receive special visit from Carmeuse

The Boys and Girls Club of America, (BGCA), has always been near to the hearts of Carmeuse Operations throughout North America. Supporting our youth is an essential aim of Carmeuse employees, and in November, the local chapter of BGCA in Southwest Virginia received a special visit from two employees at the Carmeuse Strasburg Operation.

Clay Coleman, Site Operation Manager at the James River Operation and Ashley Johnson, Human Resources from the Strasburg Operation, delivered a financial contribution to Emily Pinkerton, Director of Development, BGCA of Southwest Virginia.

Clay and Ashley enjoyed a tour of the BGCA facility. In an ongoing commitment to the BGCA, the Carmeuse Virginia Operations will partake in an annual Giving Tuesday held by the organization. At this year’s annual Giving Tuesday, the BGCA will be presenting a short film displaying 25 years of inspiring local Youth.
