Buffington provides backpacks and school supplies

Buffington supports a local “Back-to-School” event.

Starting a new school year can be overwhelming, so benefiting from much needed supplies to help get out of the gate is always a welcomed advantage for students.

The Boys and Girls Club of Gary, Indiana received a donation of 100 backpacks and much required schools supplies from the Carmeuse Buffinton Operation in an effort to provide that advantage.

The local Boys and Girls Club is a ‘Foundation’ partner of Carmeuse, who joined many other companies in the ‘Back-to-School’ program.
