Carmeuse Maple Grove seeks 2024 process engineer co-ops
Internships or co-ops are a great boost to the resume. But they’re also great opportunities for employers like Carmeuse to develop links to potential employees and secure the talent they need to maintain business operations. This is particularly important in fields where a shortage of relevant skills means there is high competition for graduates. Fields such as process engineering.
It was with this in mind that Jake Mikolajczak, Keven Stevenson, and Vickie Kent of Carmeuse Maple Grove recently attended recruitment events at Ohio Northern University and the University of Toledo in their search for 2024 process engineer co-ops. Each event saw several hundred students looking for opportunities to enhance their education and experience by obtaining an internship or co-op for 2024 with over 100 local businesses that attended.
“It’s always a great experience attending events like these and meeting so many talented students. We look forward to securing some of the recruits we spoke to for the upcoming year,” said Kent.
