Carmeuse Winchester supports Touch A Truck event as Bulldozer Sponsor
Good times were had at the Top of Virginia Building Association’s (TVBA) second annual Touch A Truck show. Held on September 9th at the Clarke County Fairgrounds, Berryville, VA, the family-friendly event encourages kids (and kids-at-heart) to climb on, learn about, and discover a variety of construction, service, healthcare, emergency response vehicles, and many more.
The Carmeuse Winchester Operation sponsored a CAT 980 wheel loader at this year’s show as the event’s Bulldozer Sponsor. Event proceeds will go to the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum in Winchester, Virginia, supporting its mission to spark curiosity and inspire learning through exploration and creative play.
“Kids and families loved our giveaways and the chance to sit in a loader,” said Terri Aikens of Carmeuse Winchester. “These are important events as we continue to educate our community about who we are, what we do, and why it’s important.”
Thanks to all those involved from Carmeuse, including Mike and Sharon Marshall, Rob Sprague, Dave St. Clair, Ben and Benjamin Starr, Katey Woodward, George and Martha McKotch, Dillon Clark, Terri Aikens, Mike Wilmoth, and Pine Knoll Construction.
