The Carmeuse Women Who Rock!
The month of March is a time to celebrate women in the workplace.
March 8th marked the annual “International Women’s Day,” a global campaign that promotes equality for women in the workplace, and is an especially a strong advocate for the rights and dignity of indigenous women in all facets of life.
Around the celebration of “International Women’s Day,” the entire month of March has traditionally become a time to conscientiously promote the good causes for women in the workplace and itself has been coined as “Women’s History Month.”
During this time, Carmeuse proudly applauded its global force of women who work in our offices, in our mines, and in many capacities around our production facilities—extraordinary women who bring there skills, expertise, and unending drive to work each and every day.
While all the women of Carmeuse are truly an asset to the success of the company, in North America, three of its women became the face of the celebration in 2023. Lindsay Marhefka—Geologist, Patricia McKinley—Supply Chain Manager, and Leslie Stoffel—IT Logistics Manager.
