Erie Dock employees recognized for their ongoing support of BBBS
The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in the Erie area has benefited from ongoing donations and volunteer support from the Carmeuse Erie Operation in the region.
The Family Services of Northwest PA has recognized the contributions from the Erie Dock employees and is awarding the operation with its Philanthropy Award.
The Philanthropy Award was presented to Tina Elder during an October 11, 2022 annual meeting. A letter from the Family Services of NW PA was sent Tina Elder on September 1, 2022.
In the letter, Gregory Loop, President and CEO, of Family Services of NW PA, explained, “Our Annual Meeting allows us to share our accomplishments, highlight the great work we do, and honor some of those individuals and partnering agencies who make it all possible. The Philanthropy Award honors and organization whose philanthropic support has had a significant impact on Family Services of NW PA and those we serve. The nomination we received was specifically related to your support of Bowl for Kids’ Sake and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.”
