Getting on your bike with Carmeuse Manitowoc

The Carmeuse Manitowoc Operation, WI, recently sponsored four bicycles at this year’s Two Rivers Optimist Club Great Bike Giveaway. Over a hundred new bicycles were given away in total, along with a helmet when needed, with children participating in a raffle to be one of the lucky winners. 

“Cycling is great way to improve physical and mental health,” said Jennifer Yauger, Human Resources at Carmeuse Manitowoc. “We are proud to support the Optimist Club in giving local children the opportunity to enjoy these benefits with a new bike as part of this beloved annual event.” 

The Two Rivers Optimist Club is dedicated to bringing out the best in kids in the Two Rivers area by providing programs that help children develop to their full potential. The club has been active since 1975 and is part of Optimist International, a global network of service clubs that are dedicated to enhancing kids’ well-being.
