Grand River Keeps Throwing Strikes for Torchlight Mentoring Alliance

Grand River has been a strong supporter of the Torchlight Mentoring Alliance in the Ohio region, regularly sponsoring the Bowl for Kids fundraiser hosted by Torchlight.  

Torchlight Youth Mentoring Alliance aims to foster and develop the region’s youth so they can reach their highest potential as responsible, adaptable, caring adults. For this purpose, community support is always much needed. 

In the month of May, Grand River employees and their families continued to ‘bowl-over’ the community by raising $5,000 as the sponsor of the outing.  

Vickie Kent, Human Resources at Carmeuse, voiced gratitude on behalf to the company saying, “Congratulations to the Grand River employees who raised over $5,000 for the fundraiser!”
