Haven for men in the Buffington region gets special service from Carmeuse volunteers

The Restoration House Ministries in Gary, Indiana is a haven for men in the city. The ministry includes opportunities to those residing in the region to gain life skills, counseling, mental health coaching, classes, nourishment, and many other helpful benefits. 

On October 7th, Buffington funded a meal provided by a local catering business, Carabbas, that was served to the men at Restoration House. Along with the financial contribution, volunteers from Buffington helped serve the meal.

The Director of the Restoration House Ministries sent a note to Carmeuse expressing their gratitude, “Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. We all enjoyed the delicious food and treats. Everyone was able to have seconds and the staff was able to eat, which never happens!! They were sooo happy.
