Luttrell keeps the bikes rolling in for perfect attendance at a local school
Perfect attendance for elementary and middle school students is no small accomplishment. Accordingly, the Union County Board of Education, (UCS), has implemented an incentive program that awards the students with a new bike.
Local companies help the cause by donating bikes for the incentive program. Already a donator to the cause in a previous contest during the fall and winter, Kristen Zimmer at Carmeuse was contacted by Marissa Dalton of USC, and the Luttrell Operation continued its support again by donating bikes for the upcoming spring perfect attendance challenge.
Tracie Crookham from the Carmeuse Luttrell Operation took charge and bought the bikes. On January 24th, Traci delivered them to Roxanne Patterson, Student Services & Attendance Supervisor, USC.
