Manitowoc employees support Annual Bike Giveaway for 118 kids in their area

Continuing the theme of bike donations to local communities, on July 27th, the Carmeuse team at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, donated money for the purchase of bikes by the Two Rivers Optimist Club for their Annual Bike Giveaway. The effort was led by Jennifer Yauger, Human Resources at Carmeuse who herself was once a member of the organization. 

The event took place at Walsh Field, Two Rivers, Wisconsin, and benefited 118 kids ranging in ages 1-18. Along with bikes, helmets were also part of the purchased gear.

As a one-time active member of the Two Rivers Optimist Club and now an employee of Carmeuse, Jennifer Yauger said, “We were happy to donate and even happier to receive a few thank you notes from the children who went home with a bicycle that Carmeuse sponsored.”
