Ohio River clean-up nets over 7500 lbs of garbage
In the month of November, a crew of volunteers from Yager Materials teamed up with environmental organization, Living Lands & Waters (LL&W), to remove trash from the Ohio River. The clean-up continues a relationship between Yager and LL&W that goes back more than a decade. A total of 7,745 lbs of trash was removed from the river during this year’s campaign.
LL&W was established to protect, preserve, and restore our nation’s major rivers and their watersheds. So far they have collected over 10 million lbs. of garbage. This is the third year that we have joined LL&W’s conservation efforts, and we count ourselves fortunate to be a part of this mission.
