Youth Development Center of Winchester receives support from the Carmeuse Virginia Operations
The Youth Development Center, (YDC), in the Winchester area has become a great social support system for youth in the area. Founded in 1990, the YDC has become a hub of activity for the area’s young people with a high level of participation from the region’s middle school and high school students who benefit from a strong culture of principled lifestyles.
The YDC is supported by the community’s business leaders. The Carmeuse Operations in the state of Virginia, recognized as Carmeuse NOVA, embrace the spirit of the community business leaders and regularly donate to the YDC.
On January 23rd, Ashley Johnson, Human Resources, Carmeuse Winchester, met with Nancy Sinback of YDC to present a Carmeuse Foundation donation. Ashley was treated to a tour of the YDC by which Nancy Sinback expressed to Ashley how the YDC really appreciated all of the support from Carmeuse over the years.
