Cal Arco Iris owns and operates a lime plant which produces high calcium and dolomitic lime, lime hydrate and milk of lime for diverse markets including steel, chemical, pulp and paper and agricultural. It is a well managed company, with efficient operations and great people.

By acquiring it, Carmeuse expands its presence in Brazil and adds operating capacity. Together with Carmeuse’s existing investment in Oxidos Do Brazil, the acquisition of Cal Arco Iris provides a strong platform for growth in Brazil.
