Alexandra Hospital Receives Gloves and Safety Glasses from Carmeuse Operation in Canada

Receiving basic supplies has become difficult for medical services during these challenging times. Recognizing this, employees at Carmeuse’s Beachville Operation in Ingersoll, Ontario decided to help Alexandra Hospital, the local hospital in Ingersoll. Carmeuse Beachville Operation employees gathered and provided 8,500 pairs of nitrile gloves and 200 pairs of safety glasses to Alexandra Hospital for their frontline medical employees.

Scott Fuller initiated the efforts joined by Scott Kristensen, Area Health & Safety Manager and Mike Fitzgerald, Production Superintendent at Carmeuse. Scott Kristensen expressed great pride in the goodwill spirit of his coworkers in saying, “The level of awareness and volunteerism within our team is something special that I am very proud of and grateful
to be a part of."
