Big Night on the Farm in aid of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby County
On June 18th, 2022, the fine folks of Shelby County, AL, gathered down on the farm to raise money for the local branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters, (BBBS), of the Greater Birmingham area. The second annual Big Night on the Farm hosted by Helena Hollow entertainment farm featured food trucks and bar, live music, raffle, inflatables and—of course—farm animals!
Carmeuse Longview was the presenting sponsor of this year’s family-oriented farmyard extravaganza, with several employees also volunteering to help with set-up and breakdown.
“We are proud to sponsor Big Night on the Farm, and support fundraising for BBBS. In total, the event raised over $25,000, which will help BBBS in mentoring youth throughout Shelby County through the power of one-on-one mentoring,” said Longview’s Sybil Owens, who also sits on the advisory board of BBBS in Shelby County.
