Carmeuse Chatsworth plants more than flowers this spring

Spring has long been celebrated as a time of growing and nurturing flowers, plants and the beauty of nature. But the team at Chatsworth Carmeuse was equally passionate about planting vital seeds in their local school systems.

Running parallel to their efforts of supporting a careers day at North Murray High School, several Chatsworth employees and their spouses and guest participated in the 1st Murray County Schools Foundation Gala. The event was a huge success in raising well over $100K for the local schools.

“We believe our local schools and its students are essential to the future success of our region. Our employees recognize this and are always willing to step forward and help however they can.” said Chatsworth’s Shae Garland.

Pictured in the photo are Carmeuse employees accompanied by their spouses and guest who participated in the Foundation Gala. The couples from left to right are Electrician Bill Peek and wife Claudia, Maintenance Planner Shane Hamrick and wife Katie, Area Operations Manager, Joey Weaver and wife Traci and Site Coordinator Sharon Fetzer with escort Henderson.
