Carmeuse Foundation supports local Pittsburgh charity

Peter Ward, Director of Development at Urban Impact, a community development organization based in the North Side of Pittsburgh, dropped into Carmeuse HQ in Pittsburgh just before Christmas to receive a check from the Carmeuse Foundation.

Ward thanked Carmeuse for the significant investment the company has made over the years in Urban Impact and the North Side community. The charity works to transform the lives of residents one family, one block, at a time, through a range of support activities for at-risk children, youth and their families. The contributions by Carmeuse continue to support that cause.

In addition to financial support, earlier in 2021 Carmeuse employees gave of their time, volunteering for a day of service at Urban Impact’s St Matthew’s location.
