Carmeuse Operations in upper Michigan name Bay Cliff Health Camp as their Community Partner

Carmeuse Drummond Island, Cedarville, and Port Inland, three Carmeuse plants in Michigan, recently named Bay Cliff Health Camp as their Carmeuse Foundation Community Partner for 2023. This continues the partnership supported by Carmeuse in previous years. Representatives from the three operations met with Clare Lugden, Executive Director of Bay Cliff, to present a Carmeuse Foundation check of $13,000.

Bay Cliff Health Camp is a non-profit therapy and wellness center serving the needs of people living with disabilities. Founded in 1933, the organization offers a range of programs throughout the year, including its Children’s Summer Therapy Camp, which has run since 1934. The camp provides seven continuous weeks of individualized therapy and activities to children with disabilities from Michigan, Wisconsin and beyond.

Carmeuse is a long-term supporter of Bay Cliff with staff regularly giving time to help repair and upgrade facilities at the camp. Thanks to their ongoing support, Bay Cliff will continue to be able to support those with special needs, enjoy childhood and prepare for living full and fulfilled lives.
