Carmeuse Supports Shenandoah County Fair Return
Stone supplied by the Carmeuse Strasburg operation, VA, will be at the center of the action at the 2021 Shenandoah County Fair. The traditional summer event makes its return after it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic last year.
The plant is donating 100 tons of stone for use in the animal arena during the fair, which will run August 30th to September 4th at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock, VA.
Organized by the Shenandoah County Fair Association, the annual gathering has been running since 1917 and features traditional livestock shows and agricultural exhibits, as well as live music, food stalls, a carnival and motorsports competitions.
