Carmeuse volunteers join global garbage clean-up campaign

On April 22nd, team members from the Carmeuse Innovation Center showed their support for Earth Day by donning safety gear and picking trash. Equipped with large garbage bags, the 23 volunteers walked the road for a half mile on both sides of Neville Road where the Innovation Center resides, cleaning-up and removing garbage.

Their efforts joined millions of others around the world as part of The Great Global Cleanup®, a worldwide campaign to get rid of billions of pieces of trash—reducing pollution, improving habitats and providing safer environments for both humans and wildlife.
