Drummond Island Donates to Local Food Banks

Drummond Island Donates to Local Food Banks

On April 20, our Drummond Island operation donated $1,000 to the Cedar Post Food Pantry in Cedarville, MI, and offered the same donation to the Drummond Island Food Bank, which will use the donation when needed. The funds were donated to purchase food vouchers from local grocery stores to support both the food banks and local grocers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The two Michigan Upper Peninsula communities are seeing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Tracy Reichlin of Drummond Island. “We wanted to support the local food pantries and the local grocery stores during this time.”
