Grand River Supports Girl Scouts, Donates to Emergency Response Teams

Grand River Supports Girl Scouts, Donates to Emergency Response Teams

During the month of April, the Grand River operation purchased 40 boxes of Girl Scout cookies from a local troop. The cookies were then donated to local emergency response teams during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the pandemic, Girl Scouts were not able to set up cookie tables as they typically do. By purchasing cookies, the Grand River operation was able to support the Girl Scouts while providing emergency responders with specialty cookies that only come around once a year.

“The Grand River team wanted to support both the Girl Scouts and our local emergency responders,” said Brian Horvath, Site Operation Manager of Grand River. “We appreciated the opportunity to support our local community.”
