Northern Virginia Sites Celebrate National Girl Scout Day

Carmeuse’s Northern Virginia operations at Winchester, Middletown and Strasburg celebrated National Girl Scout Day on March 12.

The Company donated money and time through volunteer hours to buy and distribute Girl Scout cookies to employees at all three locations to enjoy while supporting local Girl Scout Troop 15083.

National Girl Scout Day commemorates the anniversary of the first Girl Scout meeting which took place in Savannah, GA in 1912 when Juliette “Daisy” Gordon Low organized the meeting.
