Pelican Plant Donated $4,500 to Local Boys & Girls Club

The Pelican plant recently gave back to the Baton Rouge, LA community when Production Manager Robert Hogancamp and Pelican Site Coordinator Kathy Mottesheard presented the local Boys and Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge with a check for $4,500.

“It is an incredible opportunity to give back to our local community,” noted Hogancamp. “Carmeuse has a proud history of sponsoring local organizations and looking for ways to have a positive impact on our community. We are pleased to be able to contribute to an organization that impacts the lives of so many kids.

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge currently serves the area through nine after-school locations, impacting more than 5,500 kids in Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes. The club offers after-school programs focused on education, character, leadership, health and life skills, the arts, sports, fitness and recreation.
