During this holiday season, the Carmeuse River Rouge location once again harnessed the generosity of the company and its employees in providing warm coats, hats and gloves to those in need in the local community free of charge. As part of this first-year program, more than 100 coats and other pieces of clothing were presented to the Mayor of River Rouge on Friday, December 14, 2018.
“We enjoy getting involved in our community and provide items to people in need at different times of year,” said Donna Degree-Gordon. Additionally, Carmeuse donates backpacks and water bottles to area school children."
