Santa visits the Huron Winter Fest thanks to Carmeuse

The Huron Winter Fest welcomed Santa and Mrs. Clause, thanks to the Carmeuse Huron Operation, who sponsored their visit. In perfect winter weather, the seasonal celebration also welcomed The Grinch, who led the opening parade, and Elsa and Anna from Disney’s Frozen. 

In addition to the famous visitors, festival goers could enjoy a range of holiday activities, food offerings, and pop-up shops with unique gifts. Free carriage rides and shuttles were also available. The event concluded in classic Huron style with fireworks.

The Huron Parks and Recreation Department thanked Carmeuse for its wintry support, saying Santa and Mrs. Clause "visited many happy children on December 4th".
