Smiles blossom at local nursing facility thanks to Yager Materials

"When April showers may come your way,
They bring the flowers that bloom in May."

So sang Judy Garland in the song ‘April Showers’ from her 1956 album, Judy. Taking that message to heart, Yager Materials in Owensboro, KY, delivered 94 vases of flowers to residents of the Hermitage Care & Rehabilitation Center, a local nursing care facility in the area. 

"We want to thank Yager Materials for dropping off beautifully-made vases of flowers for all our residents," said the Hermitage Center in a Facebook post. 

"It was a privilege to drop off flower arrangements at the Hermitage Center, and see the huge smiles on the residents’ faces," said Chyna Kelton, human resources manager at Yager Materials, who coordinated the effort alongside colleagues, Lupita Soto Garcia and Christy Whitaker.
