Winchester Employees Participate in Earth Day Cleanup

On April 22, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, 24 employees from Carmeuse’s Winchester, VA, operation participated in an Adopt-a-Mile Earth Day cleanup on the site property in Clear Brook, VA. The employees collected 46 bags of trash and reported it to the Virginia Department of Transportation. 

“A total of 46 bags of trash were collected by our employees in two hours,” said Logan Thompson, Site Operation Manager of Winchester. “This was a celebration of Earth Day, but also a celebration of our community.”
