We are well aware of the importance of taking care of our environment. This is the reason why we have teams of workers dedicated specifically to the restoration of the quarries and the natural environment surrounding our plants.
These restoration activities include planting trees, seeding, maintenance of embankments, forest management. In Belgium, the team plants approximately 20,000 trees a year and manages 400 hectares of restored quarries. In Romania, our co-workers voluntarily planted trees, with the goal of preventing landslides near our Campulung community.
